Side Gig

A debt collector arrives at a small apartment expecting excuses, unpaid bills, and another hopeless case. Instead, he finds Wendy — a struggling student trying to hold together a life built on side jobs, overdue payments, and quiet desperation. What begins as a routine visit quickly turns into a negotiation far more personal than paperwork. The collector pushes for money, Wendy searches for another way out, and the line between business and temptation slowly disappears. Every conversation becomes a test of leverage, control, and how much dignity someone is willing to trade to buy a little more time. As the tension builds, the debt remains unpaid, but something else takes shape: a dangerous understanding between two people who know exactly what the other wants.
