What we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address, authentication records, and the performers you follow. We also receive ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser details, request logs, and cookies used for sign-in and age-gate preferences.

The performers you follow may reveal sensitive interests. We treat that list as private account data and do not display it publicly.

How we use it

  • Provide your private following list and release feed.
  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and improve the catalog.
  • Prevent abuse and comply with valid legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use your following list for targeted advertising.

Notifications

You choose a delivery channel in your account, subject to your plan. Your private RSS link can be read by anyone who has it, so keep it private. Email alerts use your sign-in address and our mail provider; phone alerts use ntfy and your notification topic. Those services process the alert content needed for delivery.

Neutral wording omits performer names and release titles from alert text. If you choose to include names, those details may appear in the receiving app and its notifications. You can change the wording or switch back to RSS in your account. Neutral wording does not make your account anonymous.

Catalog information

Performer profiles and release records come from third-party catalog sources. They may include professional names, profile images, credits, and release metadata. Release Index does not host the videos listed in the catalog. If a record concerns you and is wrong or should be reviewed, use the corrections process.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that help run the service, such as hosting, database, security, and authentication services. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect the service and its users. We do not publish who you follow.

Retention and security

We keep account information while your account is active and retain limited records afterward when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. No online service can promise perfect security, but we limit access and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information.

Your choices

You can unfollow a performer at any time. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete your account information. Available rights can vary depending on where you live.

Adults only

Release Index is intended only for adults who may lawfully access adult-content information where they live. We do not knowingly collect account information from minors.
