"I could never forgive an affair," said the married woman who worked as an infidelity investigator—until she herself was cheated on. I have a stronger sense of morality than anyone else. I take pride in my work as an investigator, and I believe that people who cheat should be punished. The man who hired me this time was so pitiful. For someone who cherishes his wife so deeply to be treated so unfairly… I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. So, when he made a move on me while I was conducting an infidelity investigation in a hotel room… I gave in out of sympathy. Even though I knew better than anyone that it was wrong… I’ve now tasted the thrill of infidelity.
